The great philosopher Slavoj Žižek (above, the one that with a microphone does not look that cool) pronounced his authoritative opinion about the recent election of Barak Obama in this article (hinting in the title at of one of the greatest albums of rock history...how dare he?).
Anyway, after reporting the words of someone else, he comments:
Rarely was the function of ideology described in clearer terms: to defend the existing system against any serious critique, legitimising it as a direct expression of human nature.
This -at least- we like.
